High Falls State Park

Updated: Nov 17

Life has kept us pretty busy lately, with lots of twists and turns. We needed a getaway. . . . after asking around we settled on High Falls State Park in Jackson, Ga. There hasn't been a lot of rain recently, so the falls were not as magnificent as they cold be, but the scenery was still beautiful and proved to be the grounding force we needed. The kids were excited to go and did pretty well, on what I thought the park employee said was a half mile hike, but was actually a 2+ mile hike! Hopefully next time there will have been more rain and we can see what the waterfalls can really do!
